Janet is a returning member of the orchestra. She first heard the recorder in 1966 while living on a kibbutz in Israel, fell in love with its sound, and was determined to study and learn to play the recorder when she returned to the USA. That is just what she did. When not playing the recorder, she works as a clinical social worker. She also enjoys working out. Presently, she is learning to play the great base, a big challenge.
